5th Annual "Pre-Season Sale"
Now that your "towing season" is behind you, it might be time to plan "smoother"
2016 season. No other trailer hitch can even come close.
those rough, bumpy highways? The bridges they can't seem to build the same height as the highway?
Now is the time to save several hundred dollars on the only way to "smooth out America's highways
and protect your tow vehicle!
|The Trailer Toad carries 100% of the tongue weight
|No other hitch can do what Trailer Toad does!
Whether you have a motor home, truck camper, pickup
truck or you haul heavy trailers with a pickup at work; the Trailer Toad is ready to "go to work and work with you"
to make your trailer towing less of a load on your tow vehicle.
We feel we
have the most unique U.S. Patented trailer hitch on the market. We have the experience to help you eliminate problems caused
by heavy trailers.
The most common questions we get at Trailer
Toad from motor home owners and commercial businesses:
motor home (or truck) is rated to be able to handle the tongue weight and gross weight of my trailer, why do I need a Trailer
short answer is: "In almost every case the Trailer Toad will prevent premature wear to the coach frame, rear cap structure
The static tongue weight
and trailer weight is not the issue with diesel pushers or one ton trucks. The problem is the constant "pounding"
on the hitch/frame/body as the rig goes down our "less than smooth" highways.
Here is an example- you are towing your trailer down a normal highway, you come to a
bridge and we all know there is a small "ramp, called the approach" where the highway meets the bridge.
We did load tests on top of the trailer ball and we recorded "weight spikes"
on the trailer ball in excess of 5,000 lbs on bridge approaches. Yes, it was for just an instant but it was like a giant sledge-hammer
hitting the coach frame over and over again. THAT..is where the damage is coming from.
|Have you "checked" your hitch lately???
This photo shows the result of the "constant
pounding" the receiver hitches take on today's highways. This one "gave up" as they were pulling into an event.
LUCKILY there was no damage (except the need for a new hitch!) but I would say blood pressures were a little high after seeing
"Eliminate the "impact
and stress" on your coach", truck or pickup camper with the worls most unique trailer hitch, the Trailer
Toad. The investment will not only let you travel with less stress.....your entire trip will be smoother."

Motor home towing issues:
The most common problem with towing with motor home is
the overhang in the rear and they simply were not designed to carry the tongue weight of larger, heavier trailers.
The Trailer Toad will carry that
tongue weight with none of the trailer tongue weight being transferred to the motor home. All you will have to do is pull
the trailer and of course, stop the trailer.
The other benefits of using a Trailer Toad behind your motor
home are these:
1. Protects the chassis from being over-stressed,
2. Prevents overloading the rear suspension
3. Prevents stress damage to the floor and sidewalls,
4. It will prevent slide-outs from
becoming out of alignment.
